The water crisis is a worldwide issue. You may often feel compelled to give but reconsider when the value of even a ten-dollar donation seems much too small for such a large problem. But what if all of our ten dollar donations turned into hundreds of thousands of dollars this New Year’s Day? Then, I would give ten dollars. And you would. And so would ten of our friends. And it would all add up very quickly.
The idea behind the “I Raise My Glass” campaign is to come together as one worldwide group to donate ten dollars each to WMI. Individually that donation may seem small, but in reality if we can spread the word to 20,000 people by December 31 to donate, $200,000 will be donated. That’s enough for about seven communities to receive safe, sustainable water from Water Missions International. Can we raise our glasses to that?
This year, it’s simple because you can text WMI to 85944 and your donation will show up on your next phone bill. Let’s spread the word that this December our ten-dollar donations will work together to make a huge difference in the lives of countless others.
