As Chief of Philanthropy, Molly Greene is instrumental in cultivating relationships with corporate, governmental, civic, and faith-based organizations.

Prior to founding Water Missions International in 2001 with her husband George, Mrs. Greene co-founded and served as President of General Engineering Laboratories. GEL grew to become the largest privately held single site environmental laboratory in the US and was one of the most comprehensive engineering consulting firms in the southeast. Mrs. Greene was involved in the daily management of community and government affairs, client relations, business development and human resources.

Mrs. Greene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Spanish from Mississippi University for Women. She is an active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church.

Mr. Reed began leading WMI as President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2006. Mr. Reed is a skilled senior business executive whose steadfast devotion to following God's will led him to make the transition from the business world to this nonprofit ministry.

Before joining WMI, Mr. Reed was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Celgard, a global manufacturing company. In this role, he managed global Sales and Marketing, Research and Development, Manufacturing, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations.

In addition to his professional background, Mr. Reed brings a lifetime of strong Christian faith and many years of ministry and church leadership experience. At his home church, Parkwood Baptist Church in Gastonia, North Carolina, he served as a deacon for fifteen years and was active on numerous committees. During this time, he also served as a board member for Gaston Christian Schools, Rock Solid Ministries, Marriage God's Way, and served as an area leader and financial counselor for Crown Financial Ministries.

Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University.

Dr. Greene is responsible for providing spiritual, technical, and strategic guidance for Water Missions International. As Chief Technical Officer, he oversees the design and implementation of WMI's safe water solutions. He is also an integral part of developing relationships with strategic partners.

Prior to taking the role of Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Greene served as Chief Executive Officer. He held this position from 2001, when he and his wife Molly founded the organization, until 2006. During that time WMI's rapid growth called for internal restructuring in order to maximize the many new opportunities available.

Before founding Water Missions International, Dr. Greene founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of General Engineering Laboratories, where he was responsible for the development and technical administration of analytical and environmental engineering consulting services. Prior to that he worked as a Senior Engineer with Exxon Research and Development Company, and as an Assistant Project Manager for Lurgi Mineraloeltechnik in Frankfurt, Germany.

Dr. Greene holds degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University (Ph.D.), Columbia University (M.S.), and the University of Florida (B.S.). He is a licensed engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina. He is an active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Pennington manages the day-to-day financial activities of WMI, including accounting, payroll, public reporting, routine and periodic reporting and analysis. In addition, she oversees WMI's administrative activities.

Mrs. Pennington brings to Water Missions International 26 years of experience in the corporate sector, where she held various accounting, finance, and administrative positions. Before joining WMI, she was the Vice President Corporate Controller at AstenJohnson, Inc., a global manufacturer of specialty textiles used primarily for the papermaking industry. AstenJohnson, Inc. is a privately held company with over $350 million in annual revenue.

Mrs. Pennington holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University. She is an active member of St. John's Parish.

Mr. Greene's responsibilities include engineering design and development, focusing on potable water, wastewater, and storm water, as well as in-country assessment work and project implementation.

He has worked on projects in Afghanistan, Belize, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. He is also responsible for ongoing improvements to the Living WaterT Treatment System.

Mr. Greene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University. He is an active member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church.

In February 2007, Danya Jordan joined the Servant Leadership Team as VP of Development. Ms. Jordan came to WMI after nine years with the American Cancer Society, where she most recently served as the Coastal SC Area Manager. She has 13 years of fundraising experience with American Cancer Society and Porter-Gaud School.

Ms. Jordan holds a BS in Communications from Appalachian State University and a Masters in Public Administration from College of Charleston. She is an Elder at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, a Chair of SC Presbyterian Cursillo Council, and a member of the Junior League of Charleston, Inc.

Ms. Jordan is an active member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church.

After 34 years of an enjoyable business career, God made it evident to Jerry Miner that it was time to pursue another path. Following a strong call from the Lord, he joined Water Missions International in February 2007.He is responsible for directing the efforts of WMI in the area of disaster response.

Prior to joining Water Missions International, Mr. Miner served 23 years as Vice President of Marketing at the Palmer Donavin Manufacturing Company., a leading building materials distributor in Ohio. Mr. Miner holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Ohio State University.

Mr. Miner has served as a teaching elder in local churches for nearly 25 years, most recently serving at Grace Community Church in Lima, Ohio. He has also served on the board of directors of Teens for Christ, as well as assisting with several other local ministries.
