There continues to be a great need for clean water after the massive earthquake in Haiti. A shipment of five water systems arrived in Haiti today. Our volunteer team in Charleston, SC is working two shifts daily to continue assembling and packing five water treatment systems for deployment each day. Water Missions currently has 10 systems ready to be shipped out tomorrow afternoon.
One of these systems will be sent to the border of the Dominican Republic where thousands of refugees are fleeing. The remaining nine will be shipped through Miami for delivery directly into Port-au-Prince. WMI currently has 12 water treatment systems in Haiti with more units being shipped out by the day. The need for help is still great, and we thank everyone for their continued support.
