Our technicians in Haiti were able to set up a Living Water Treatment System today from a local river in Port-au-Prince. The water was then able to be distributed to a nearby Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. The folks here told us this was the first delivery of potable water they had received since being in the camp. Below is a picture from the camp.
We are also continuing to look for a permanent base of operations in Haiti. The addition of staff and volunteers in Haiti has gone smoothly and we pray for continued relief for the Haitian people. Additionally we ask everyone to pray for WMI volunteer Aaron Stevens, who left Haiti today and will return to the US soon. Please pray for safe travel and again thank you for your continued prayers for the people of Haiti.
