El Salvador In
January, an earthquake killed at least 844 people,
injured 4,723 others and destroyed over 108,000 houses
in El Salvador. WMI responded to this disaster by
providing three water systems in partnership with
the Psaras Foundation and Samaritan's Purse.
Belize Working
with the Anglican Diocese of Belize, WMI installed
two water systems to assist in the disaster relief
effort due to damage and disruption caused by Hurricane
Keith.
Afghanistan One
water system was shipped to Kholm, Afghanistan and
subsequently installed by Water Missions International
for a hospital reconstruction program undertaken by
Samaritan's Purse.
Afghanistan and Cuba Technicians
at International Aid were trained to set up and operate
water systems in Afghanistan and Cuba.
