Haiti Earthquake: Two Weeks Later

It's been nearly two weeks since the magnitude 7.0 earthquake unexpectedly rocked Haiti. The capital city of Port-au-Prince was hit particularly hard, losing most of the city’s power and making living conditions unbearable. The need for proper sanitation and clean water is still great as the country continues to be ravaged by the effects of the devastating quake. Please continue to keep the Haitian people in your thoughts and prayers.

A shipment of 10 water treatment systems is being delivered by helicopter today from Guantanamo Bay to Port-au-Prince. The shipment will bring the number of systems in Haiti to 22. An additional 9 units are scheduled to be shipped from Miami, Fl to Port-au-Prince tomorrow.
