Volunteers are vital to the ministry of Water Missions International. It is our team of volunteers that allows us to donate the Living Water Treatment Systems to those in need of clean drinking water by decreasing our cost of labor. We have many volunteer opportunities available throughout our organization, and volunteers can expect to be involved at all levels. Whatever your skills, abilities or experience may be, we would love to have you join our team. By volunteering at Water Missions International, you can take a hands-on role in providing safe water and the “Living Water” message to people in need.
Volunteer in Charleston, SC
The first step towards volunteering in Charleston is to attend a Water Missions International Orientation at our headquarters in West Ashley which takes approximately 2 hours and includes a volunteer application process. The Orientation will give you an overview of the global impact of Water Missions International, a tour of our facility, and a discussion with the Volunteer Coordinator about current and future Volunteer Opportunities.
The next step will be to arrange an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator, Michael Simpson, to discuss your schedule and availability and to determine the right fit for your skills and interests at Water Missions International.

Volunteering Internationally with Water Missions International
If you are seeking opportunities to serve in other countries, please be aware installations of our systems are completed by our Country Programs' staff and our Ministry Partners. We do not currently have a volunteer program designed to send volunteers to other countries.
Opportunities do arise on a limited basis, so if you are interested in funding your own volunteer trip to one of our Country Programs, please email your CV/resume and interests to Michael Simpson, Volunteer Coordinator, at msimpson@watermissions.org.
