Water Missions Provides Water For IDP Camp

Safe water is flowing in Haiti!

Today, Water Missions International's team  installed 2 more Living Water Treatment Systems at the Adventist University in Carrafore. Another system had been installed yesterday afternoon around 3 PM. When the team arrived at 11 A.M today the first system had already provided nearly 20,000 liters of fresh water.

Presently nearly 20,000 are encamped on the grounds of the campus. Another 8,000 live in the surrounding community. Efforts will be made to bring water to the entire community.

Water Missions also joined with another ministry partner to install an LWTS at the soccer field near the General Hospital. Yesterday, Pat Haugney was able to assist Operation Blessing finalize the installation at the hospital.

Water Missions Int'l (liason with Fed Exp Corp contributions/charities)

Please forward this to whoever needs to approve this emergency request. I'll give contacts when we talk. Have them call me Water specialist and volunteer Rev. Richard M Henley 505-480-9300. This is very real and an emergency rush request that needs to get to your proper person who can ok this emergency transport. All verification contacts can be given immediately.

We have 2 emergency solar powered pumping and purification systems to supply water to
up to 50,000 people immediately that need to get from Colorado (Pueblo, Colo Springs or Denver) to Ft. Lauderdale for an already approved transport supply plane to land it in Haiti. The manfacturer Jack B. is travelling with them to train ARMY and Haitian personnel to install these donated units.

They are $25k units and donated but need to get there. When crated each weigh 1100 lbs and measure 36x41x96. So total is 2200 lbs plus the inventor/manufacturer. 2 Foundations and the manufacturer himself donated 18 units but they are all stuck in Colorado awaiting transfer and secure installations in Haiti. Late last night we were told by Haitian Embassy logistics taht TWO systems and the technical person (Jack B, himself) can be included immediately on the THURSDAY MORNING transport plane leaving Ft. Lauderdale. At Haiti the already cleared transport plane will be met by Haitian Ambassador personnel and Army technical staff to be installed securely. But they must get to the transport tranfer point at Ft.Lauderdale airport.

I am told by FedExp Corp Contributions they work with you. Your help to get units from Denver or Colorado Springs airport to Ft. Lauderdale airport is all that is needed and the
transport will take it from there. Please call as it must occur today.

We have all documents and contacts you can verify. But please call me immediately.
